It really warms my heart when people put themselves out for others.  Chris from Daya Nueva is one of those people.  She arranged all the raffle prizes and sold the tickets at her local bar Imanyos in Daya Nueva, near Rojales on the Costa Blanca.  Expats4afgahnheroes would like to thank her for raising 116 Euros.  As a thank you, the bar will be presented with an official Afghan Heroes Certificate.

Expats4afghanheroes would like to thank Rita And Dave who run The Marina Bar for their hard work in raising money for Afghan Heroes.  They raised 590 Euros in December by holding a Christmas Craft and Gift Fayre, and held and auction.  I didnt have to do any of the work, because they did it all. 

They have continued to sell the books that were left, and have had such a good response from locals, that I have had to beg for more for them.
