Expats4afghanheroes would like to thank Rita And Dave who run The Marina Bar for their hard work in raising money for Afghan Heroes.  They raised 590 Euros in December by holding a Christmas Craft and Gift Fayre, and held and auction.  I didnt have to do any of the work, because they did it all. 

They have continued to sell the books that were left, and have had such a good response from locals, that I have had to beg for more for them.

During March 2010 they will be holding an auction to raise more funds for Afghan Heroes.  If you have any items that you would like to donate you can find the bar by taking the turning by the police station opposite Carrefour and McDonalds in Torrevieja.  Go left at the next roundabout and then 2nd right.  The bar is on the right after the phone box.

Rita and Dave also have a small stock of wristbands, as worn by HRH Prince Harry.  Get yours before they sell out - again!
