Afghan Heroes Charity CD fights back in Afghanistan A charity CD produced by Expat Line Dancers in Spain has become the first CD to fly on a mission in Afghanistan in a Reaper with 62 Squadron. The unmanned remote controlled aeroplane, which is equipped with cameras and missiles is used to support troops on the ground and is capable of flying for long periods of time and loitering around a battle zone The CD “He Drinks Tequila (And She Talks Dirty in Spanish) was released in October this year to raise money for the Afghan Heroes Charity. Last year the group raised over 600 Euros for The Marie Curie Cancer fund. This year they have already raised more than that for Afghan Heroes which was set up by 8 mothers whose sons all died on 9th and 10th of July 2009. “We are looking to raise money for Afghan Heroes by auctioning these extremely rare items.” Said Jackie Lawson, whose husband Ian works in Afghanistan, and who arranged for the CDs to be flown in the Reaper. “Both CDs have a certificate signed by 2 RAF pilots and one CD has been framed with its certificate.
